The Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) lacrosse routed the host Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE), 9-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sussex Academy for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 7. Lake Forest will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Newark Charter School falls to 1-1 on the year.
