Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV), 9-8 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Bath County upgrades its record to 4-8 on the year. The Chargers travel to Narrows (Narrows, VA) to play the Green Waves in a non-league game on Monday, May 5. The Green Waves enter the game with a record of 2-8. Narrows lost 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Giles (Pearisburg, VA)

The Warriors now own a 1-3 record.
