Fans at Friday's league test between the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) and the host Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI), witnessed Prout's lacrosse squad top Cranston West by a count of 12-2.

The Crusaders (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels enter the Division 2 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Smithfield thwarted Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 13-8, in a league test.

Next, the Falcons battle the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Tuesday, May 6. Cranston West will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Islanders enter the test with a 8-2 record after their 18-7 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI).
