Fans at Friday's league test between the Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) and the host Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA), witnessed Hempfield's lacrosse squad overcome Ephrata by a count of 19-12.

The Black Knights (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Trinity (Camp Hill, PA). The Shamrocks enter the non-league test with a 14-1 record. In their last test, Trinity nipped Red Land (Lewisberry, PA), 15-2, in a league test.

Next, the Mountaineers battle the Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon test, on Wednesday, May 7. Ephrata will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Buckskins enter the test with a 7-7 record after their 14-4 league loss to Penn Manor (Millersville, PA).
