Fans at Friday's league test between the SPIRE Academy SPIRE (Geneva, OH) and the visiting St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH), witnessed SPIRE Academy's lacrosse squad top St. Edward by a count of 19-9.

The SPIRE (7-8) will now prepare for their test against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, North Allegheny was overwhelmed by Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 6-5, in a league test.

Next, the Eagles battle the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders (Cincinnati, OH) in a Region 4 test, on Saturday, May 3. St. Edward will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record.
