Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Hudson moves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Columbus (Waterloo, IA) to clash with the Sailors in a North Iowa Cedar League test on Friday, May 2. The Sailors come into the test with a record of 2-9. Columbus lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)

The Dons now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wahlert for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Don Bosco will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 0-0 non-league Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
