In Friday's league contest, the Glacier Peak Grizzlies (Snohomish, WA) soccer team edged the visiting Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Grizzlies battle the Kamiak Knights (Mukilteo, WA) in a 4A Wesco contest, on Tuesday, May 6. Glacier Peak will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 8-5 record after their 7-1 league win over Arlington (Arlington, WA).
The Vikings (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mariner (Everett, WA). The Marauders enter the 4A Wesco contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Mariner held off Cascade (Everett, WA), 4-2, in a league contest.
