South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 1-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, South County advances its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Stallions host Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to clash with the Bruins in a Patriot test on Monday, May 5. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 6-4. Lake Braddock won 3-2 in their recent league test against Woodson (Fairfax, VA)

The Spartans now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host West Potomac for a Patriot test on Monday, May 5. West Springfield will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 0-0 league Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-2.
