The Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) softball routed the visiting Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT), 7-1 in Friday's league outing.
The Spartans now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cheshire for a non-league outing on Monday, May 5. Amity Regional will encounter a Rams team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mercy (Middletown, CT). The Rams record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Sheehan moves to 4-7 on the season. The Titans host Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league outing on Monday, May 5. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 10-4. Lyman Hall lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Foran (Milford, CT)
