San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA), 6-5 in a league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poly for a Valley Mission outing on Wednesday, May 7. San Fernando will encounter a Parrots team coming off a 12-7 league loss to Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Arleta moves to 9-13 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Chavez (San Fernando, CA) to encounter the Eagles in a Valley Mission outing on Wednesday, May 7. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 10-12. Chavez won 4-2 in their recent league outing against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA)
