The Highland Springs Springers softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Armstrong Wildcats to 5 in the Springers league win on Friday.

The Springers now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a Capital battle on Monday, May 5. Highland Springs will confront a Patriots team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Armstrong moves to 1-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Richmond High School for the Arts (Richmond, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Richmond High School for the Arts lost 18-0 in their recent league battle against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA)
