In Friday's league match, the host Graves County Eagles softball team scored a tight 14-8 victory over the Ballard Memorial Bombers.

The Eagles (15-13) will now prepare for their match against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 8-12 record. In their last match, Apollo Jasper (Jasper, IN), 2-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bombers battle the Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 3. Ballard Memorial will attempt to better on its 15-8 season record. The Rockets go into the match with a 9-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).
