Next, the Lava Bears play the Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR) in a 5A Intermountain challenge, on Tuesday, May 6. Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 8-2 league loss to Ridgeview (Redmond, OR).

The Storm (2-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Caldera (Bend, OR). The enter the 5A Intermountain challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Caldera edged Redmond (Redmond, OR), 19-7, in a league challenge.
