The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) and the visiting Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN), observed Benilde-St. Margaret's's softball team get by Chanhassen by a final score of 6-5.
The Red Knights (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Cretin-Derham Hall was nipped by Park (Cottage Grove, MN), 13-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Storm battle the Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN) in a Metro West bout, on Monday, May 5. Chanhassen will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 6-4 league loss to New Prague (New Prague, MN).
