Maryland High School Softball - Leonardtown bounces Chopticon

The Leonardtown Raiders softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Chopticon Braves to 1 in the Raiders league win on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Point for a Southern Maryland battle on Monday, May 5. Leonardtown will confront a Eagles team coming off a 22-1 league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Chopticon moves to 15-1 on the season. The Braves host Great Mills (Great Mills, MD) to confront the Hornets in a Southern Maryland battle on Monday, May 5. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 4-14. Great Mills lost 13-1 in their recent league battle against La Plata (La Plata, MD)
