The Clatskanie Tigers softball team scored 19 runs and held the host Vernonia Loggers to 0 in the Tigers league win on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knappa for a 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 battle on Tuesday, May 6. Clatskanie will confront a Loggers team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Gervais (Gervais, OR). The Loggers record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Vernonia moves to 3-13 on the season. The Loggers host Gaston (Gaston, OR) to confront the Greyhounds in a 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Greyhounds come into the battle with a record of 3-8. Gaston won 16-14 in their recent non-league battle against Corbett (Corbett, OR)
