The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Orrville Red Riders to 2 in the Royals non-league win on Friday.

The Royals now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Reserve Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Orrville moves to 0-12 on the season. The Red riders host Rittman (Rittman, OH) to confront the Indians in a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 3-15. Rittman won 19-2 in their recent non-league battle against Aquinas (Louisville, OH)
