The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) and the host Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA), observed Dunmore's softball team get by Riverside by a tally of 8-4.

The Bucks (10-6) will now prepare for their bout against Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Blue Devils go into the Lackawanna 3 bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Old Forge tipped Honesdale (Honesdale, PA), 18-3, in a league outing.

With the loss, Riverside moves to 7-10 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to encounter the Chiefs in a Lackawanna 3 outing on Monday, May 5. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 6-10. Lakeland lost 15-0 in their recent league outing against Mid Valley (Throop, PA)
