The Fulton Pirates triumphed over the visiting St. Charles Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) in a Mid-State challenge, on Monday, May 5. Fulton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 15-2 non-league win over Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).

The Bulldogs (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI). The Eagles enter the Mid-State challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Carson City-Crystal was routed by Merrill (Merrill, MI), 6-5, in a league challenge.
