The Grass Lake Warriors (Grass Lake, MI) softball nipped the visiting Hanover-Horton Comets (Horton, MI), 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homer for a non-league outing on Monday, May 5. Grass Lake will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Manchester (Manchester, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Hanover-Horton moves to 9-2 on the season. The Comets host East Jackson (Jackson, MI) to encounter the Trojans in a Cascades outing on Monday, May 5. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 3-6. East Jackson lost 19-6 in their recent non-league outing against Morenci (Morenci, MI)
