In Friday's non-league match, the host Julian Eagles softball team scored a tight 17-13 win over the Guajome Park Academy Frogs.

The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Warner (Warner Springs, CA). The Wildcats come into the Manzanita match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Warner nipped Borrego Springs (Borrego Springs, CA), 23-10, in a league match.

In their next game, the Frogs battle the La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA) in a Pacific match, on Wednesday, May 7. Guajome Park Academy will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Torreys come into the match with a 5-11 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Bishop's (La Jolla, CA).
