The Gull Lake Blue Devils edged the host Plainwell Trojans softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils meet the Otsego Bulldogs (Otsego, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Gull Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Niles (Niles, MI).
The Trojans (4-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Niles (Niles, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 3-11 record.
