The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Pratt Greenbacks (Pratt, KS) and the visiting Hesston Swathers (Hesston, KS), observed Pratt's softball team prevail over Hesston by a tally of 23-15.

The Greenbacks (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Kingman/Norwich (Kingman, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Kingman/Norwich was routed by Douglass (Douglass, KS), 6-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Swathers clash with the Herington Railroaders (Herington, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Hesston will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Railroaders go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 19-4 non-league loss to Moundridge (Moundridge, KS).
