Pennsylvania High School Softball - Honesdale succumbs to Old Forge

In Friday's league test, the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), by a tally of 18-3.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a non-league test, on Sunday, May 4. Old Forge will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 8-5 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA).

The Hornets (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats go into the Lackawanna 3 test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Western Wayne was routed by Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA), 11-0, in a league test.
