The Irvington Blue Knights softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Newark Tech Terries to 12 in the Blue Knights non-league win on Friday.

The Blue Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Arts (Newark, NJ). The Jaguars come into the SEC - Independence match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Arts was routed by Tech (Newark, NJ), 23-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Terries battle the Tech Panthers (Newark, NJ) in a SEC - Colonial match, on Monday, May 5. Newark Tech will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
