The Pioneers now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowne for a PSAL Queens A battle on Monday, May 5. Newtown will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Flushing (Flushing, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, John Adams moves to 2-8 on the season. The Spartans host Forest Hills (Forest Hills, NY) to confront the Rangers in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. The Rangers come into the battle with a record of 2-6.
