The Montville Mustangs softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Pequannock Golden Panthers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Morris Mendham for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. Montville will encounter a Minutemen team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Kent Place (Summit, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Pequannock moves to 7-5 on the season. The Golden panthers travel to Madison (Madison, NJ) to encounter the Dodgers in a NJAC - Liberty battle on Monday, May 5. The Dodgers come into the battle with a record of 1-11. Madison won 5-2 in their recent non-league battle against Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ)
