The Oxford Hills Vikings softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles to 1 in the Vikings league win on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fryeburg for a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. Oxford Hills will confront a Raiders team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Mt. Ararat moves to 0-5 on the season. The Eagles host Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME) to confront the Capers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 5. The Capers come into the battle with a record of 0-2. Cape Elizabeth lost 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against Leavitt (Turner, ME)
