The St. Dominic Saints triumphed over the visiting Old Orchard Beach Seagulls softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Saints play the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. St. Dominic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 6-1 league win over Mount Abram (Strong, ME).
The Seagulls (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Mount View was routed by Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME), 11-0, in a league challenge.
