Salem Rocks (Canton, MI) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI), 13-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Salem upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Rocks travel to Milford (Highland, MI) to play the Mavericks in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Mavericks enter the game with a record of 4-2. Milford won 8-5 in their recent league game against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI)

The Pirates now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Jackson for a Southeastern - White game on Monday, May 5. Pinckney will play a Vikings squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-6.
