New Jersey High School Softball - Raritan bounces Toms River East

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) and the visiting Toms River East Raiders (Toms River, NJ), observed Raritan's softball team get by Toms River East by a tally of 11-5.
The Rockets (16-2) will now prepare for their bout against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys go into the non-league bout with a 12-2 record. In their last bout, Red Bank Catholic was routed by St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 13-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Toms River East will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Howell (Farmingdale, NJ).
