The Wells Leopards overwhelmed the host Smith Valley Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Leopards meet the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a 1A Northern challenge, on Friday, May 2. Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 19-11 league loss to Coleville (Coleville, CA).
The Bulldogs (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Wells (Wells, NV). The Leopards go into the 1A Northern challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, Wells toppled Eureka (Eureka, NV), 24-5, in a league challenge.
