The Westbrook Knights softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Whitney RVT Owls to 4 in the Knights non-league win on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Lyme for a Shoreline - Large battle on Tuesday, May 6. Westbrook will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Whitney RVT moves to 3-4 on the season. The Owls host Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT) to confront the Governors in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 3. The Governors come into the battle with a record of 2-8. Wilbur Cross lost 14-0 in their recent non-league battle against Shelton (Shelton, CT)
