Ohio High School Baseball - Valley loses to Frontier

The Valley Lumberjacks baseball squad (Pine Grove, WV), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH)

With the triumph, Frontier moves its record to 6-9 on the season. The Cougars host Shadyside (Shadyside, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Ohio Valley Athletic AA contest on Monday, May 4. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 9-8. Shadyside won 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against Union Local (Belmont, OH)

The Lumberjacks now possess a 0-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 9. Valley will confront a Seminoles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Seminoles record now stands at 9-10.
