Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) backers went home content Saturday as they witnessed their baseball team knock off the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jim Thorpe for a Colonial challenge on Tuesday, May 5. Lehighton will clash with a Olympians team coming off a 9-6 league loss to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Olympians record now stands at 9-10.

With the defeat, Palmerton drops to 11-8 on the year. The Blue bombers host Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Colonial challenge on Tuesday, May 5. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Northern Lehigh lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA)
