The Lawrence Lancers triumphed over the visiting Brockton Boxers softball squad by a count of 28-16 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers meet the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen (Tewksbury, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 4. Lawrence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Redmen enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Andover (Andover, MA).
The Boxers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mashpee (Mashpee, MA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Mashpee overcame Nashoba Valley Tech (Westford, MA), 35-31, in a non-league challenge.
