With the win, Draughn upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to battle the Bears in a Northwestern Foothills 2A test on Friday, May 21. The Bears come into the test with a record of 8-0. Bunker Hill won 10-0 in their recent league test against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)

With the defeat, East Burke falls to 0-8 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to battle the Panthers in a Northwestern Foothills 2A test on Monday, May 24. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Patton won 10-1 in their recent league test against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)
