The Saranac Chiefs the visiting Saranac Lake Red Storm baseball team by a count of 8-4 in Friday's league bout.

The Chiefs now possess a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peru for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout on Saturday, May 21. Saranac will face a Nighthawks team coming off a 5-2 league win over Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Nighthawks record now stands at 16-2.
