In Friday's league contest, the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Avengers face the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) in a State Championship Division contest, on Monday, May 23. East Greenwich will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 0-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).

With the loss, Bishop Hendricken moves to 10-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to encounter the Skippers in a State Championship Division challenge on Monday, May 23. The Skippers come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. North Kingstown won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI)
