In Friday's non-league battle, the host Norwich Free Academy Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Putnam Clippers.
The Wildcats (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Wethersfield lost by Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Clippers encounter the Norwich RVT Warriors (Norwich, CT) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 26. Putnam will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Westhill (Stamford, CT).
