The Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) softball routed the host George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), 10-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Golden Bucks (12-1) will now prepare for their bout against Dexter (Dexter, ME). The Tigers go into the Class C North bout with a 3-6 record. In their last bout, Dexter was routed by Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME), 18-1, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a Class C North bout on Monday, May 23. George Stevens Academy will confront a Red Devils squad coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-6.
