The Lowell Red Raiders softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Dracut Middies to 0 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Lowell moves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Red Raiders host Newton South (Newton, MA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, May 23. The Lions come into the game with a record of 9-7. Newton South lost 12-4 in their recent non-league game against Bedford (Bedford, MA)

In their next game, the Middies clash with the Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 23. Dracut will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 8-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA).
