The Edinburgh Lancers nipped the host Waldron Mohawks softball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Friday's league battle.
The Lancers (11-11) will now prepare for their battle against Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN). The Saints go into the non-league battle with a 8-14 record. In their last battle, Indianapolis Lutheran held off Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
The Mohawks now possess a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Triton Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 21. Waldron will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-9.
