In Friday's league contest, the Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Norton Panthers (Norton, OH), by a margin of 12-4.

With the triumph, Field moves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Falcons host Coventry (Akron, OH) to play the Comets in a Portage Trail - Metro contest on Monday, May 23. The Comets come into the contest with a record of 11-4. Coventry lost 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Keystone (La Grange, OH)
