The Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners routed the host Lynn Classical Rams softball squad by a final score of 17-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Tanners (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gloucester (Gloucester, MA). The Fishermen go into the Northeast battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Gloucester notched a victory over North Reading (North Reading, MA), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
The Rams now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Everett for a Greater Boston battle on Monday, May 23. Lynn Classical will confront a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Lynn English (Lynn, MA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 14-4.
