The Skyline Vikings got by the visiting Woodland Bobcats softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Vikings (27-17) will now prepare for their battle against Brantley (Brantley, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 32-8 record. In their last battle, Brantley nudged Red Level (Red Level, AL), 21-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bobcats now sport a 23-12 record. They play next when they host Maplesville for a non-league battle on Friday, May 20. Woodland will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 20-10.
