Michigan High School Baseball - Oxford loses to Utica

May 20, 2023: Oxford, MI 48371

The Utica Chieftains baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Oxford Wildcats to 3 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Saturday.

The Chieftains (9-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Oxford was overwhelmed by Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Oxford falls to 12-10 on the season. The Wildcats host Utica (Utica, MI) to battle the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 8-19. Utica lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI)
