The Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) softball routed the visiting Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI), 14-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Trojans (23-6) will now prepare for their bout against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI). The Vikings go into the Big North bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Cadillac was routed by Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI), 15-0, in a league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Inland Lakes for a non-league bout on Monday, May 22. Cheboygan will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.
