Columbia Bruins (White Salmon, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Stevenson Bulldogs (Stevenson, WA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elma for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 20. Columbia will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 23-3 league loss to Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-9.
With the loss, Stevenson falls to 9-10 on the campaign.
