Michigan High School Softball - Gladwin bounces Tawas Area

May 20, 2023: Tawas City, MI 48763

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI) and the host Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI), witnessed Gladwin's softball squad prevail over Tawas Area by a count of 16-1.

The Flying G's now sport a 19-11 record. They play next when they travel to Clare for a Jack Pine match on Monday, May 22. Gladwin will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 21-9.

With the loss, Tawas Area moves to 3-8 on the season. The Braves host Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 23. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 4-9. Ogemaw Heights won 9-1 in their recent non-league match against Meridian (Sanford, MI)
